This project was about my time in an eating disorder unit.
It was also the project that got me into photography school.
My task was, to take pictures with the title "Bildriss" (ripped picture) and because at that time, I wasn't able to leave the clinic (due to the coronavirus), I had the idea to take pictures in the clinic and pared them with cracks that I photoshopped onto the pictures.
The meaning of these pictures is, that for me, in the beginning, the stay felt like it would tear up a big hole in my life but it actually saved me and changed my situation for the better.
This subject is very close to my heart and I will keep pursuing the theme of mental health in my work.
